Notable features of the Volcano Medic Vaporizer include:

  • An internal fuse which means that in critical care areas such as hospitals, if the fuse blows other electric devices are not affected
  • The mouthpiece is equipped with a check valve. This check valve reduces the danger of possible contamination of the interior valve balloon, as exhaling into the valve is prevented. For this reason the valve balloon is appropriate for multiple uses. To avoid contamination the hygienic reprocessing and maintenance of the mouthpiece are of particular importance.

The Volcano Medic vaporization system is intended for vaporizing and inhaling either pure dronabinol (THC) dissolved in alcohol or cannabinoids from herbal cannabis. The therapeutic goal is the application of the active ingredients in the human body via the alveoli for medical use. It is suitable for the inhalation of cannabinoids for authorized patients under the supervision of a physician.
